We, too, are parents in New Orleans. While there is so much to love about our fair city, there aren’t nearly enough indoor options for playtime with children. The Monkey Room is a unique indoor playground where kids can enjoy active, unstructured play no matter what the weather. Another common issue faced by parents and caregivers in New Orleans is trying to find activities or places to visit that will engage and entertain children of varying ages. Many attractions in New Orleans are engaging for school aged children but less so for pre-school aged children, or vice versa. The Monkey Room provides fun and active play for children from infants to pre-teens in a single location. |

The Monkey Room contains a huge, custom designed play structure for children 3 – 12 with slides, climbs, obstacles, and other fun elements to explore. An adjacent toddler area for younger children includes play equipment sized just for this age group. The Monkey Room also has 2 party rooms which can be reserved for birthday parties, large group outings, and other celebrations. Each room includes an inflatable bounce house available only to party guests. Party guests also have unlimited access to the open-play room. For large celebrations or group outings, the party rooms can be combined into one larger room with an inflatable obstacle course instead of the bounce houses. Snacks are available at The Monkey Room from our Snack Bar. We offer water, soda, milk and juice, as well as a variety of snack foods. Adult seating is available around The Monkey Room to provide a place where parents and caregivers can relax, read and visit with one another while the children play. We also offer wireless internet access and may show special events on our television. We want to get kids moving and playing where the weather is no excuse! |
